Dr. James Ahmoye, BDS, LDS, DDO
Dr. James Ahmoye was born in the Seychelles Islands in the Indian Ocean and moved to England as a youth. He completed his High School Diploma in England and Graduated from Guy’s Hospital Dental School, University of London, one of the oldest dental schools in the world. He then followed that by obtaining his Post Graduate Orthodontic degree from Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow, Scotland.
Dr. Ahmoye moved to Canada in 1980 and has been providing orthodontic as well as general dentistry services since. Dr. Ahmoye owned and operated his dental practice in Fernie from 1984-2000 and in April 2000 sold the practice to Drs. Marcela and Amos Kahane.
Always striving to improve his skills by staying current with the latest developments, Dr. Ahmoye enjoys travelling to destinations that provide Continuing Education opportunities. Using the latest technology with Invisalign and the Damon System, Dr. Ahmoye is able to treat patients of all ages.
